The OptiLock Implantable Port is a high performance vascular access port with superior, biocampatible materials and optimized design profile. Secure Locking mechanism: has a unique connection system that allows catheter to stay securly attached to the port, with reduecd risk of kinking. There are two attachment options: the port can be implanted with its catheter pre-attached, or the catheter can be detached and reattached manually.
Clip: provides a reliable connection between the catheter and the port. The clip remover facilitates disconnection of catheter.
Profile: low profile design and low weight. This smaller size and weight helps to prevent migration after implantation.
Conductivity and magnetic properties: port is not conductive and non-magnetic. It does not interfere with MRI and CT Scanning.
Visibility on X-ray: radiopaque ring inside the port aids in visibility and in locating the catheter connection on X-ray or under fluoroscopy.
